The Wcman attack was filmed in 2004 and was the first Hero Factory Brazil production
The new space police are formed. Space Sheriff Gunstorm follows space criminal WCman to planet Earth, and discovers that an intergalactic crime network has taken hold on our planet. To help him break up the gang, he summons two new rangers trained by the space academy:
Gun Cyber - the metallic guardian and Karatcha, a space ranger equipped with new biological armor technology Team Cyberbio is formed!
THE COSMO POLICE CYBERBIO PROJECT
Ever since I met Jaspion and the other series of the so-called “golden era of tokusatsu” on Brazilian TV, I started to cultivate the idea of creating my own character
in the mold of metal heroes. Since then, I have made several attempts to build replicas of the armor, long before the cosplay craze arrived in Brazil.
Many years later, I was successful in making a jaspion armor cosplay, which made me quite known among Brazilian otakus and cosplayers.
After doing several armored cosplays, I felt I was ready to start that old project of filming the adventures of a hero of my own. IN 2002 I started
assembling the armors of Karatcha and Guncyber, at the time, the character was called “tokusan”, which would be a filmed version
of a flash manga I made at the same time. Today, Tokusan has become the logo of HERO FACTORY, my cosplay team, and the series, which is now in production, was renamed cosmo patrol cyberbio, the result of a maturation of ideas
since I formulated the project in 2002 .
The initial objective of the series was to retake the formula of the space police, but when the idea of adding the character Karatcha arose, the thing took on a greater development. Karatcha is actually a reworking of a character from an old fanzine of mine called KicK & PUNCH, where a ninja was inspired by cockroaches to promote his philosophy of surviving everything. The new Karatcha makes a clear reference to kamen riders, with the difference
that he is, say, 98% insect and only with a little cybernetic side. Guncyber is the main character of the plot, but his weight in the story will have the same degree of Karatcha. CyberBio is a state of consciousness where the living being enters into total harmony with the machine he controls, becoming part of it, and at times, expanding the capabilities of both the machine and the body. It's not something I'm going to delve into at this moment, but it will be explored in cyberbio. The humorous side will be emphasized, to give the ideal spice to the duo's adventures, with villains and allies, who are already coming out of the paper.
